Members of Friends of the Oakland Public Library provide financial support for library projects and programs that enhance library services to the residents of Oakland, Piedmont, and Emeryville. In addition to the good feeling that comes with supporting the library, members receive a 20% discount at the Bookmark Bookstore and the Friends’ newsletter, Off the Shelf.

THE BOOKMARK BOOKSTORE
The Bookmark Bookstore is located at 721 Washington Street in Old Oakland.
Our bookstore, staffed by volunteers, sells quality used books to raise money for the library. FOPL members receive a 20% discount of their purchases!
