Volunteer

The Bookmark Bookstore is always seeking volunteers!

Our volunteers do a variety of chores during their three hour-per-week shifts. These tasks include receiving, unpacking and pricing donations; shelving new books and culling old stock; keeping certain areas alphabetized; general upkeep, and most importantly – ringing up sales! One of the best parts of the job is simply chatting with our customers and other staffers about books, books, books (not to mention the 50% discount on books that all volunteers receive)!

The next time you’re in the store shopping, take a few minutes to talk with our volunteers and see first-hand what they do. We are all very proud to be a part of the Bookmark’s operation.

The Bookmark currently has openings for the following shifts:

Fridays 12:30 – 3:00 pm
Saturdays 12:30 – 3:00 pm
