Spring has sprung, and April is Jazz Appreciation Month, National Poetry Month, and Arab American Heritage Month! Why not celebrate all three together? Also, check out Sonic Histories: Living Room Listening with Chinatown Records at OPL's Asian Branch on Saturday, April 26 from 3-4:30PM. Looking for some live jazz and spoken word? Keep the celebration going at "UpSurge!" on Saturday, April 26 from 5-7PM at 424 Monte Vista Ave, Oakland, CA, featuring local poets and musicians.
